The Care and Rehabilitation Center at Glacier Hills provides 24-hour skilled nursing services, including rehabilitative and short-term care, as well as extended nursing care.
Professionals experienced in geriatric medicine assure the best and most advanced treatment protocols. Certified and licensed social workers coordinate care needs, while registered dieticians plan appetizing, nutritious meals and develop specialized diets to meet individual requirements.
Comprehensive programs are available in the areas of fall prevention, behavior management, wound and skin care, and pain management. In addition, residents have access to on-site dental, podiatry and ophthalmology services.
Glacier Hills is proud of its historical collaboration with medical leadership which includes geriatric specialists and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the University of Michigan and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, located just a few miles away.
Glacier Hills enjoys collaborative relationships with the University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan University and Washtenaw Community College which continually improve resident care and enhance education through training and research.
