Grand Oaks Nursing Center has been a part of the Baldwin community for over two decades. In 2005 we moved from our location on M-37 to a newly built 79-bed facility on Denmark Street. The new facility is nestled in a quiet wooded area where our residents, family and staff can view the surrounding wildlife from all the rooms. Family and friends are encouraged to participate in scheduled recreational programs with their loved ones and visit anytime.
While we are located in the rural community of Baldwin, our residents benefit from shopping trips, casino outings, and other trips to the “big citiesâ€. Our secured patio area allows residents to participate in caring for vegetable and flowering plants, watch the hummingbirds, and enjoy barbeques during the warm weather months. Our Activity Department has a Wii system, a large TV and movies available for the residents and their family to utilize. During the school-year we have an active Grandparent program in partner with the local elementary school.
