Welcome to Heartland of Oakland, located at 925 West South Blvd, near Livernois. This state-of-the art facility opened in the winter of 2007 and features 24-hour skilled nursing and intensive rehabilitation programs for short-term patients transitioning from hospital to home. The center offers spacious rehabilitation areas, attractive social areas, outdoor courtyards and private and semi-private rooms. In addition, the center offers amenities to meet the short term patient’s personal needs including home assessment, family education, an internet cafe and a coffee bar. Flat screen televisions in the rooms have speakers that can be placed on the pillow or bedside for more privacy and convenience. The call light system includes a paging system directly to the staff which allows for quicker response and less noise from an overhead paging system
