ProMedica Health System has several units specializing in skilled, post-hospital care. We help residents gain the skills necessary to perform the daily living activities needed upon discharge.
Skilled care is considered temporary, with residents expected to return home as soon as possible. However, residents admitted for skilled care have special health care needs requiring more services than assisted living offers.
In all our facilities, we are equipped to meet those needs with a comprehensive staff of medical professionals:
* A medical director at each facility, on call 24 hours a day
* Registered nurses
* Nurses’ aides
* Dietary professionals
* Recreation, respiratory, physical and occupational therapists
* Restorative nursing professionals
* Licensed social workers
