MediLodge of Rochester Hills is a nice surprise in the world of nursing homes. It’s a homey, friendly, welcoming place where your loved one will receive skilled nursing care, physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

A Place to Call Home
Beyond the traditional therapies, we do our best to learn about residents so we can tap into their motivation for recovering, whether it’s the desire to walk their dog, crochet an afghan, or play a game of cards. And, everyone—not just our nurses and therapists—provides this level of care, from our housekeeping staff to the cooks in our kitchen. This makes our building feel more like home—a place where everyone is welcome, enjoyed, and cared for.

A Place to Build Memories
We love doing all sorts of things—the very things that people do in their normal, everyday lives and then some. And truly believe, “Life is too short; live for the moment.” Residents can enjoy a facility cooking class, grab a bag of popcorn at the movies, join a discussion group, and make new friends. All of our activities are designed to help our residents enjoy experiences that add purpose and meaning to their lives.

A Place Where Magic Can Happen
We are constantly amazed and thankful for the wonderful things our residents are able to do. We’ve seen people fall in love at 80. We’ve seen sad people find their smile again. And we’ve been fortunate to witness how the connection between caregivers and persons in need can transform all of our lives. Some days, it seems like magic.

A Place to Heal and Go Home Again
Recovery can be a challenging process. Going through it isn’t easy, but every hurdle is climbed together as a team. Many of our residents are happy to return to their homes, to enjoy gardening, cooking, and living their lives as they wish. If that’s their goal, we work together to do our best to make it happen. When it does, we’re thrilled and so are they.
